Joined a local Company after leaving OBHS in 1963, progressed to the position of Company Secretary, but left in 1975 to pursue a career as a Life Consultant with AMP Pearl Assurance. Discovered that long hours and family life do not go together so another career move into Materials Management with GDA( a GE America/Merloni Italy joint venture in domestic appliances, washing machines to the world. Over the last two years I have been involved in market research doing freelance work in media, mainly radio (when I have free time). Hoping to retire soon, and let someone younger take the punishment! Left Oswestry in 1976, but still visit my mum who has a warden controlled apartment there.Now live in Conwy, North Wales (one of the great medieval walled towns ofEurope). Conwy Castle is well known and I live about two hundred yards away.

Married for 29 years to Ann Griffiths (her father was Editorial Director at North Wales Newspapers). Two children David and Sian (good Welsh names) and three grand-children. Interests Football (Man. United of course) Just been to see them play Bayern Munich. Narrow gauge railways - member of the Festiniog and Welsh Highland Railways.
